Take an exciting journey around the world and meet ordinary women who stop at nothing to bring hope to the hopeless.
In Urban America, the bush of Africa, the war zone of the Congo and in closed nations there are women who are living outside their own cultures, society and comfort level to care for orphans, build schools, liberate addicts, feed the poor and love the broken.
A few of these women have names you may recognize, while many are mostly unknown.
They are not doing what they do, for fame or fortune, but from a desire to impact someone’s life with the love and hope of God.
They have sacrificed comfort, homes, careers and much more to care for children with special needs in China; to feed the Orphans in Mozambique; to build schools in war-torn Congo; to love the forgotten in the projects of Bartow, FL; to transform a ghetto in Jackson, MS; and to encourage and pray for the addicts in a recovery program in Lake Okeechobee, FL .
In Hope Has A Name Heidi Baker, Amy Lancaster, Deena Van't Hul, Jessica Goodman & Cassandra Lee take you on a candid and intimate journey into their worlds and lives as they make Hope come alive – and with it the belief that we can all do something.

Hope Has A Name is an ambitious 107 minute documentary film targeted for DVD about ordinary women bringing extraordinary hope in unlikely places.
The film takes an intimate and candid look at women around the world who are living outside their own cultures, society and comfort level to care for orphans, build schools, encourage addicts, feed the poor and love the broken. By visiting these women and sharing their stories through a camera lens, this film provides a unique opportunity to empower, engage and inspire women of all ages, races and social standing to bring hope to the hurting.

For many Women the thought or dream of being able to do something impactful that changes culture or improves society is illusive. It seems impossible. After all women like Mother Teresa and Corrie Tin Boom are unique, aren’t they?
Yet there are women, ordinary women, who like Mother Teresa are reaching into hopeless situations of people and creating hope.
Our mission is to not only give a candid look inside the lives of these women, but to encourage others to let hope come alive; and inspire them to make a difference in someone's life.
